Charvet is a French luxury shirtmaker based in Paris, founded in 1838 by Joseph-Christophe Charvet. It is considered the world s oldest shirt shop and a premier purveyor of bespoke and ready-to-wear shirts, ties, pocket squares, and haberdashery. The brand is known for its meticulous shirtmaking craft – handmade buttonholes, canvassed fronts, selection of fabrics from top mills, and bespoke fittings – serving a clientele including royalty and presidents over nearly two centuries.
