Déborah Sitbon Neuberg, the founder of De Bonne Facture – a menswear label inspired by the French phrase for “doing things well” – strives to revive traditional expertise. She works closely with European ateliers from areas with rich histories of weaving, knitting, or tailoring to ensure that each piece has its own unique story and origin. In an effort for transparency, tags are present on each item with details of where it was made. Their selection includes items such as Shetland wool sweaters, Belgian washed-linen sport jackets, and Japanese organic cotton poplin shirts. All of these are crafted with finesse and are made to last, as they only become more unique with wear and time.
