Juntae Kim

In 2022, Juntae Kim, a graduate of Central Saint Martins, launched his eponymous label with a stunning array of gender-fluid clothing. Drawing inspiration from ’70s punk and classic tailoring, the pieces feature carefully placed details and rugged materials. Rebellious elements such as zippers and slashes are added to trousers, outerwear, and overshirts, alongside Cuban-heeled boots and the brand’s iconic berets. Western-style yokes and cinch straps harken back to traditional menswear, while bow appliqués and cutouts bring a lighthearted touch to denim, nylon, and jersey. By blending old-fashioned references and a gender-fluid approach, Juntae Kim creates a unique menswear aesthetic.
