Taking on the theme of a luxurious hotel, if you’ve yet to see the WildFox Resort collection, we can’t wait to introduce you. Forever known as a brand that puts out very artistic and thematic lookbooks, there’s so much more to look at in this lookbook than just clothing. It’s a feeling, aesthetic, and complete story, thanks to styling by Jessica Loria and photography by Mark Hunter. There’s even a very on-brand packing list graphic within the lookbook to, once again, further the look and feel of the collection. Drawing our attention to the clothing and styles themselves, though, we would describe this lookbook as casual luxury. For the most part, model, Arina Lush, wears comfortable loungewear pieces, like cozy knits, crewneck sweaters, joggers, matching legging and sport bra sets, and even some classic striped t-shirt dresses. Now, of course, in true WildFox fashion, these more casual looks are styled in a manner that feels very fashion-forward and playful. In other words, the pieces go beyond what the Average Jane might wear while lounging around at home. These pieces are much more elevated and on the pulse of fashion. For example, there’s a graphic crewneck sweater that’s been styled with colored leggings, which feels pretty standard, but when paired with a faux-fur neck scarf, the look instantly gets a fashionable spin. Or what about that pink and red Coca-Cola sweater paired with a pink satin skirt? This pairing is the perfect example of that casual luxury that WildFox is all about.
