DeMellier is heading back to the city for Autumn Winter 2026, and the biggest arrival is The Brooklyn, a new handbag family developed from the language of its popular New York silhouette. The new design keeps the elongated proportions, then adds a fold over closure secured with an interior zip and finished with the family’s belt detail. Long top handles allow both The Brooklyn and The Midi Brooklyn to sit over the shoulder, while roomy interiors are sized around everyday carry.
The season also gives DeMellier’s leather story a richer update. Warm Brown, Bordeaux and Dark Green move through the lineup alongside Zebra Effect Leather, which uses a process of dyeing, finishing and screen printing. Large Croc Effect Leather also appears as a new take on one of the brand’s established finishes. Both Brooklyn sizes are handmade in Italy using leather sourced from Leather Working Group Gold rated tanneries, keeping the focus on material, proportion and practical details.
The New York family gets another addition with The New York Crossbody. DeMellier gives the bag a deeper profile, a generous interior and an adjustable leather strap while retaining the architectural lines associated with the original family. The Brooklyn is priced at $835, The Midi Brooklyn at $725, and The New York Crossbody at $725. DeMellier’s full Autumn Winter 2026 collection launches August 18, 2026.
