Bringing us the ideal mixture of both chic and sophisticated, but also wearable and classic, Goen J doesn’t disappoint with their latest collection. Most well known for their architectural silhouettes and refined romanticism, this Korean-based brand knows how to give us a feminine feel, but with masculine details. For example, with this Resort ‘20 collection, on one hand, we have femininity coming through with white lace, belted waists, romantic puff sleeves, ruching, peplums, and pretty tired skirts. However, on the other hand, to bring in a more masculine aesthetic, you’ll find the architectural silhouettes come through with the use of blazers, pleated pants, shirt dresses, and even some basic t-shirts that manage to feel both casual, but also elevated when paired with a more feminine skirt. In addition, in terms of color palette, we like that nothing about the Goen J lineup feels too overly precious or sweet. Instead, they make use of neutrals, while throwing in pops of bold red and muted blue. And so, all that being said, we can’t recommend this collection enough if you gravitate towards both masculine and feminine design.
