The Kardashian clan’s reign over the fashion and beauty industry is expanding, and this time it’s Kylie Jenner’s turn to shine. On October 24, Kylie Jenner unveiled her very own fashion brand, Khy, with a soft launch on her Instagram. In just 24 hours, tens of thousands of eager followers flocked to the official account, a testament to the anticipation surrounding this fashion venture.

Khy – Where High Fashion Meets Urban Edge

A dynamic fusion of high fashion and urban edge, the clothing brand is poised to redefine modern style. Kylie Jenner has long been a fashion icon, often making headlines for her eclectic wardrobe choices, from Schiaparelli to Jean Paul Gaultier. Her recent appearance in an Acne Studios campaign hinted at her ambition to dominate the fashion industry. While she previously collaborated with her sister Kendall in the Kendall & Kylie brand, Khy represents a new chapter in her fashion journey.

What Exactly Is Khy?

The clothing brand promises to offer wardrobe basics, staples, and investment pieces. The collection is said to be inspired by Kylie’s own style, both past and present, and will reflect her ever-evolving moods and guest designer collaborations. The fashion brand will be available for shoppers on November 1 via its website, khy.com. But if you can’t wait, you can sign up now for early access and receive email and text updates.

Collaboration With Namilia

Khy‘s inaugural collaboration is with Berlin-based gender-neutral brand Namilia, founded by Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl. Namilia is known for its provocative, politically charged designs, often featuring motocross-inspired selections, adored by celebrities like Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. The collaboration promises to deliver black faux-leather pieces and nylon-and-elastane “base layers” that exude a daring, avant-garde aesthetic.

Inclusion & Accessibility

The first drop will introduce 12 pieces, and while we’re uncertain about the frequency of future collections, it’s expected to follow a random schedule, similar to SKIMS and Good American. Affordability is a key feature of the brand, with all pieces in the collection priced under $200, making high fashion more accessible to a wider audience. Faux-leather pieces, like the striking black trench coat that Kylie herself showcased, will be a part of the collection, alongside nylon-and-elastane “base layers” for a contemporary and comfortable edge. Kylie’s brand is also committed to inclusivity, offering a size range from US XXS to 4X, mirroring the brand philosophy of Kylie’s sister’s brands, Good American and SKIMS.
