Philipp Plein brought back his larger-than-life runway spectacle for Spring 2027, turning Milan’s hippodrome into a fashion show with monster trucks and motorcycle stunts. Around 2,000 guests watched as models walked in satin tailoring, crystal-covered dresses and decorated denim while vehicles raced through the venue. The designer eventually joined the finale from a blue monster truck, with the entire cast following behind. It was an extravagant return to the kind of runway production Plein has always enjoyed, and the clothes were every bit as flashy.

Womenswear moved between polished tailoring and full-on glamour. Double-breasted satin suits and camel topcoats with shiny gold buttons brought a more dressed-up attitude, while leather jackets featured structured backs inspired by biker styles. Beige suede jackets and long coats offered another take on that silhouette. Then came ombré fur coats with tails dangling from the hems, introducing an especially theatrical element to the outerwear. Even the more traditional pieces had plenty of personality, with sharp cuts and glossy finishes keeping things interesting.

Crystal flowers covered colorful minidresses, while beads and sequins formed floral and chain motifs across longer gowns. The Philipp Plein denim looks were equally decorated, with gold palm trees and heart designs appearing on jeans and matching suits. Some pieces used crystals to accentuate cutouts, including a heart-shaped opening. Patched varsity jackets, sneakers and loose-fitting double denim brought a streetwear element to the collection, while pastel double-breasted suits added a softer color story to the menswear offering.
