The Vibe :
⊹ Heritage plaid, feminine florals, embroidery, and lace run straight into sporty pieces.
⊹ Track pants and caped shapes keep the prep references from becoming too polished.
⊹ Earth tones, jewel shades, and soft neutrals give the layers plenty of depth.
⊹ Alpine embroidery and Fair Isle knitwear push the cold-weather story even further.
Sea Fall 2026 has little interest in keeping its references in separate corners. Heritage plaid lands next to lace-trimmed pieces, track pants interrupt the prep, and florals cut through layers of knits and tailored outerwear. Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan pull from everything from Grey Gardens to Diane Keaton and Take Ivy, but the clothes never settle into a single nostalgic decade. Warm earth tones, jewel shades, and soft neutrals keep all those competing ideas from becoming visual overload.

The details get stranger the closer you look. Embroidery runs along the side of a dress to redraw its outline, pearls appear on a jersey number, and lace inserts break up crinkled balloon pants. Sea also works caped cuts, corduroy, and heritage fabrics into the season, giving Sea New York plenty of room to move between feminine dresses, sportier separates, and heavier layers without cleaning up the contrast.

Some of the cold-weather pieces push the idea even further. A fleece-lined Fair Isle pullover, an Aran sweater-windbreaker hybrid, shearling, and knits embroidered with Alpine motifs turn familiar winter staples slightly sideways. Fall 2026 is at its best when something recognizably traditional gets interrupted by lace, sport, or an unexpected surface detail.
Sea New York

Brand DNA
Founded in New York in 2007 by childhood friends Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan, Sea pairs vintage-inspired femininity with modern city polish. Lace, embroidery, knits, and boyish silhouettes give the label its romantic downtown character.
