Before Tiger Mist became an online fashion name, it was a Melbourne boutique opened by sisters Alana and Stevie Pallister in 2007. The pair eventually took the business global, building a social-first following around clothes designed in-house for whatever version of getting dressed is happening that day. In practice, that usually means something fitted, cropped, short, or ready for a late reservation.
Mini dresses remain a major part of the equation, alongside fitted tops, skirts, matching sets, bikinis, trousers, and knitwear. Current styles move from sculpting bandage dresses and second-skin jersey to crochet, mesh, halternecks, cutouts, and softer draped pieces. A quick scroll through Tiger Mist makes the range pretty clear: the label can go from an embellished mini to an easy knit set without abandoning its distinctly after-dark point of view.
That flexibility has helped Tiger Mist stretch well beyond its original Melbourne store. The label now sells internationally and continues to work through a rapid stream of seasonal edits and collaborations, including its current Emily Venz capsule built around ’90s model-off-duty references, crochet, jersey, and bandage pieces. Nearly two decades in, the formula still centers on clothes meant to be seen.
