The Vibe :
⊹ Stylist Chloé Bartoli founded ÉTERNE in 2020 after struggling to find basics that fit the way she wanted.
⊹ Baby tees, tanks, ribbed tops, sweats, denim, cashmere, and swim form the backbone of the wardrobe.
⊹ Custom fabrics are developed specifically for the label.
⊹ The palette rarely strays far from black, white, cream, grey, brown, and washed neutrals.
ÉTERNE started with a stylist’s problem. Chloé Bartoli founded the label in 2020 after years of altering basics that never quite fit properly, cost too much, or missed the mark on fabric. Vintage pieces she had collected for styling jobs became references for some of the brand’s earliest staples, including baby tees and tanks. Instead of chasing seasonal novelty, Bartoli built ÉTERNE around the pieces she kept reaching for herself.

That still defines the wardrobe. Cotton Modal, Butter Rib, French Terry, Soft Jersey, cashmere, denim, and silk appear across fitted tanks, boxy tees, lounge pants, sweats, dresses, and knitwear. A fitted top from ÉTERNE might look almost anonymous on a hanger, but proportion is doing most of the work: shorter hems, close-fitting ribs, relaxed sweatshirts, and simple necklines designed to layer without fuss.

Bartoli’s styling background also explains why the range feels less like a collection of basics and more like wardrobe infrastructure. Fall 2026 expands into cotton cashmere, waffle cashmere, liquid jersey, lightweight denim, and deeper shades such as forest, mushroom, washed navy, and rust. The clothes are simple by design, but never treated as filler.
