Alanui is celebrating its tenth anniversary by opening the doors to Casa Alanui. For its Milan Fashion Week debut, founders Carlotta and Nicolò Oddi welcomed guests into their new headquarters at Villa Borletti, where vintage furniture, wood and woven raffia set the scene for Spring 2027. The setting suited a label that has built its reputation around travel-inspired knitwear, particularly the belted jacquard cardigan. This season, however, the familiar statement knits came with a distinctly summery wardrobe of dresses, cropped pieces and decorative accessories.

Creative director Carlotta Oddi looked to One Thousand and One Nights for the collection, titled “Under a Thousand Stars.” Tropical animals, lush vegetation and star-filled skies appeared through intricate intarsias, embroidery and appliqués, alongside Alanui’s recognizable bandana and foulard motifs. Cotton and linen mixed with wool for lighter textures, while paper- and raffia-effect yarns gave dresses a different finish. Open stitching, beads, shells and sequins brought extra detail to cropped knits, flowing dresses and summer separates.

The accessories were just as decorative, with straw and crochet bags, beaded mules, knitted flip-flops and multicolored hats joining the lineup. Linen dresses featured crossed backs and draped skirts, while crochet swimwear incorporated recycled-plastic beads. The collection even extended to four-legged companions through a collaboration with Poldo Dog Couture, introducing fringed dog sweaters and matching bandanas in red and caramel. The pieces repeated Alanui’s signature bandana graphics, bringing the same playful patterns into a smaller wardrobe.
