Alessandra Rich turned her Mount Street apartment into an art-filled boudoir for Spring 2027, surrounding the clothes with works by female artist friends including Alma Berrow, Anissa Kermiche, Alexandra Gordienko and Polina Osipova. Titled “Pink Fury,” the collection moved between the designer’s familiar evening glamour and a more relaxed take on dressing for the daytime. The intimate London Fashion Week presentation felt like stepping inside the wardrobe of a woman who collects art, loves getting dressed and has very good taste in both.

Daywear received particular attention this season. Cotton jacquards, silk scattered with miniature florals and glossy nylon-thread fabrics brought a garden-party mood to apron dresses and bustier-detail minis. Quilted sets came with high slits, while an off-the-shoulder red floral minidress in silk georgette featured an oversized bow at the back. Black, white and pink bouclé skirt suits, some decorated with embroidered micro sequins, added a more tailored alternative to the romantic dresses.

Eveningwear remained an important part of the story, with a feather-trimmed black velvet gown standing out among the dressier looks. A turquoise silk cocktail dress with a sweetheart neckline introduced a brighter option, while thinner straps and open backs gave the silhouettes a more revealing finish. The contrast between these polished pieces and the casual cotton dresses was particularly appealing, allowing Rich to indulge her love of glamour while giving the Spring 2027 wardrobe a little more room for daytime plans.
