The Vibe :
⊹ Wool suiting is stripped down to fitted blazers, sharp trousers and bikini-scale tops
⊹ Corseted silk and duchess satin keep every line close and highly controlled
⊹ Grey marle jersey cools down the port and pitch-black paillette shine
⊹ Sheer georgette introduces movement without loosening the silhouette
Alex Perry’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection keeps the body under very close supervision. Wool suiting, Italian jersey, silk georgette and duchess satin are cut into narrow, deliberate lines, with almost nothing added simply for decoration. Across Alex Perry, glamour has always depended on control, but this season makes that control unusually visible.

The tailoring is the clearest example. Single-breasted contour blazers and fitted jackets sit over tailored trousers, cropped pants and shorts, while bikini and wrap tops reduce the traditional suit to its most abbreviated version. The contrast is sharp rather than playful: a strong jacket above a near-bare midsection, followed by a trouser cut with the same severity as the shoulders. Within Alex Perry clothing, suiting is not used to make the collection more practical. It gives the exposed pieces a stricter frame.

Silk and satin take over once the collection moves into evening. Strapless longline gowns, one-shoulder draped dresses and corset-shaped minis use fabric close to the body before releasing it through sheer panels or trailing georgette. Duchess satin keeps the surfaces clean and dense, while silk georgette supplies movement around hips, shoulders and open backs. The gowns never look loose, even when the fabric begins to float.

High-gloss paillettes in port and pitch black push the collection into more familiar Alex Perry territory, but grey marle jersey stops the shine from becoming the only story. Ruched singlet dresses, bodysuits and off-shoulder shapes bring a stripped-back base layer into the same wardrobe as the sequined minis. That friction makes the simpler pieces feel sharper: grey jersey beside a paillette skirt looks less like downtime and more like a calculated refusal to overdress every inch.

The skirts and dresses carry the same close-cut logic. Narrow columns, asymmetric draping and fitted minis trace the body without relying on excess volume, while Alex Perry skirts keep the proportions clean enough to sit beside cropped suiting and corseted tops. Spring/Summer 2026 does not ask whether the look is comfortable, relaxed or easy. It asks whether every line is exactly where it should be.
