Cult Gaia Spring 2027 begins in a darker place. Jasmin Larian Hekmat titled the collection Behesht, the Persian word for heaven, continuing a personal story that began with Shirzan after the death of her grandmother, Mommy Aghdas. The runway moves from charcoal and earthy neutrals into green, sky blue, red and finally soft pink, tracing a shift from grief toward renewal. At the Gilder Center, that transition reads like a garden pushing through concrete.

The clothes carry that same tension. Chintz plissé is worked into basket-like structures, while crisp cotton sits beside silk jacquards and rustic knits. Airy silks are frayed and fringed, and hand-painted silk and organza petals build up into layered floral forms. Metallic wool is woven into tweed, and some hammered-ring constructions use more than 2,000 individually assembled pieces. Within Cult Gaia, those tougher materials sit naturally beside the label’s familiar fluid dresses and statement accessories.

The beauty look stays softer. Karim Belghiran leaves hair loose and wispy or pulls it into a low knotted ponytail, while Raoul Alejandre uses Lisa Eldridge makeup for luminous skin, warm diffused blush across the cheeks and nose, and glossy nude or rosy lips.
