The Vibe :
⊹ Edie Campbell and Daisuke Ueda wander a near-forgotten airfield by the Alps.
⊹ Moni Haworth shoots the campaign as a short film, then pulls the stills from analog footage.
⊹ A latex-covered table, foil-wrapped sofa, and displaced furniture turn the runway slightly surreal.
⊹ Hitchcock and Fassbinder linger in the background without turning the campaign into literal cinema.
Jil Sander Fall 2026 drops Edie Campbell into a private airfield near the Alps and then makes the whole place feel slightly wrong. Simone Bellotti moves pieces of home onto the tarmac—a latex-covered table, foil-wrapped sofa, bench, desk, and armchair—leaving Campbell and Daisuke Ueda somewhere between arrival, departure, and a living room with no walls. Moni Haworth photographs and directs the campaign, pulling the stills from a short film shot on analog.

The setup gives Bellotti’s Fall 2026 clothes a cinematic edge without overloading them. Campbell moves through the runway in pared-back tailoring and outerwear while the furniture sits around her like evidence from another scene. That slightly uneasy mood fits Jil Sander particularly well here, where clean shapes are given something stranger to push against rather than being left in a blank studio.

The images carry grainy texture and faded VHS-like color, with Hitchcock and Fassbinder cited as faint references rather than direct recreations. Space Afrika’s “If This Is Hell” featuring Deuén supplies the score, breaking up the story even further. Nothing explains exactly why these people—or their furniture—are on the runway. That unresolved feeling is basically the point.
