Jung Kook is taking his Chanel ambassadorship straight to the pulse points. The House Ambassador for Chanel Fragrances and Beauty connects with In House Perfumer Creator Olivier Polge over 1957 Extrait de Parfum, an ambery, musky and floral composition designed to become one with skin. The setup keeps perfume close and tactile, with the fragrance treated as part of the wearer rather than something floating around them.
Neroli and iris pallida lead into a cedar and musk accord, with vetiver and sandalwood adding warmth underneath. The Extrait de Parfum carries the 1957 signature in a more concentrated format, applied with the bottle’s stopper behind the ears, across the décolleté or along the inner wrists. Jung Kook’s presence gives that skin focused ritual a fitting face, especially as his work across fashion campaigns continues to place his personal style under a very large spotlight.

The name reaches back to 1957, when Gabrielle Chanel received the Neiman Marcus Fashion Award in Dallas. Chanel presents the bottle inside a faceted case with a precision thread cutter for removing the cotton thread used in its seal. A white label, faceted stopper and traditional baudruchage finish the presentation. Once opened, the focus returns to the fragrance itself, placed directly onto skin and left to settle through neroli, iris, cedar, musk, vetiver and sandalwood.
