Kallmeyer Spring 2027 starts with a pairing that pretty much explains the whole collection: a plain white long-sleeve T-shirt and a densely beaded skirt. Daniella Kallmeyer keeps putting the everyday next to something far more dressed up, whether that means an ornate jacket over light-wash jeans or a technical track jacket beside a sweeping evening dress. With much of the palette pared back, beads, fringe, sheer organza and textured knits get considerably more attention.
The season pulls from How to Wrap Five Eggs, a book on traditional Japanese packaging, and the work of Colombian textile artist Olga de Amaral. Those references show up through fabric that is folded, bound, twisted and released around the body. Raised beading creates an eyelash-like plaid, while long packing-confetti fringe gives several knits an unruly surface. A cropped beaded jacket paired with jeans keeps Kallmeyer grounded in clothes that can move between polished and everyday without changing personalities.
Sport gets another pass through streamlined knit sets and technical layers, while long trousers pool or gather at the ankle. Evening pieces turn lighter through transparency and movement rather than heavy decoration. The accessories story grows too, with Kallmeyer introducing shoes and adding new versions of the Magazine Tote to the lineup.
