Rosé’s Puma Speedcat Etoile Comes Tied With Satin Bows

The Vibe :

⊹ Rosé trades the Speedcat’s racing attitude for pastel pink and satin-like shine.

⊹ Ribbon laces turn the low-profile sneaker into something closer to a ballet flat.

⊹ Soft suede overlays and tonal branding keep the finish delicate rather than sporty.

⊹ A nostalgic bedroom campaign places the sneaker among Rosé’s personal memories.

Rosé is giving PUMA’s Speedcat another ultra-feminine remix with the new Speedcat Etoile. The low-profile sneaker keeps the recognizable racing shape but softens it through a pastel pink palette, satin-inspired finishes and ribbon laces that can be tied into bows. It lands somewhere between a motorsport sneaker and a ballet flat, arriving just as fashion’s obsession with slim shoes shows no sign of fading.

Soft suede overlays, tonal branding and a subtle sheen pull attention toward the surface rather than piling on extra hardware. Rosé wears the sneaker inside a nostalgic bedroom filled with youthful keepsakes, pairing it with a cropped PUMA tee and relaxed jeans. The imagery feels warmer and more personal than the industrial setting behind her earlier chrome Speedcat campaign, while still keeping the shoe squarely at the center.

The Etoile also follows PUMA’s continuing experiments with the Speedcat shape, including Ballet, Wedge and Mule versions. Where the recent Speedcat Mule removed the heel entirely, this release uses bows and satin-like shine to push the sneaker closer to dancewear. Available July 30 through PUMA and selected stockists, it gives the racing shoe a softer finish without losing its slim, ground-hugging profile.
