Sea Resort 2027 comes home for the label’s 20th anniversary. Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan photographed the lookbook in Newburgh, New York, the Hudson Valley river town where they grew up, pulling maritime workers and local river life into the clothes. Instead of postcard resort dressing, the season gets practical with a daffodil-yellow raincoat, camo cargo pants, a windbreaker-and-cargo-skirt set and fish motifs worked into scarf prints.
The fishing references get more literal around the accessories. Traditional creel baskets are reworked with foulard-wrapped handles, while a cummerbund apron and leather apron turn workwear details into styling pieces. A daffodil coat and camo cargos give Sea New York a tougher streak before lace, pearls and tuxedo dressing pull things somewhere dressier. The new “Sea NY & Supply” label also nods to vintage sporting-goods graphics.
Paolini keeps the romantic side close by with lingerie-inspired lace, bloomers and culottes, plus jade and amethyst running through the palette. One dress is built to resemble a polo layered over a shirt and skirt, while prep, fishing gear and formal references keep crossing paths throughout the 40-look lineup. Twenty years in, Sea celebrates by heading back upriver rather than somewhere exotic.

Founded in New York in 2007 by childhood friends Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan, Sea pairs vintage-inspired femininity with modern city polish. Lace, embroidery, knits, and boyish silhouettes give the label its romantic downtown character.
