The Vibe :
⊹ Wrapped forms meet SKIMS’ familiar body-hugging modal
⊹ Convertible details let tops, skirts and dresses shift between styling options
⊹ Ecru, cocoa and onyx keep the seven-piece capsule tightly edited
⊹ VETTESE brings an architectural edge to everyday second-skin dressing
SKIMS x VETTESE takes the familiar second-skin formula somewhere more directional. The limited-edition Summer 2026 capsule marks SKIMS’ first partnership with an emerging designer, pairing the Los Angeles label’s signature Modal fabric with Kari Vettese’s wrapped forms, tubes and convertible construction. Across seven ready-to-wear pieces, fitted dresses, draped skirts and adaptable tops turn everyday dressing into something far less predictable.

The lineup arrives in ecru, cocoa and onyx, with prices ranging from $64 to $148 and sizing from XXS through 4XL. Several pieces can be buttoned together, separated or worn in alternate configurations, including tops that connect with skirts to create dresses. A body-contouring tank dress adds convertible straps, while sheer modal tops, an off-the-shoulder style and a draped bralette extend the collection beyond standard SKIMS tops.

The collaboration makes the most sense when the pieces are slightly rearranged rather than styled one fixed way. A wrapped midi skirt can sit with its matching top, while detachable elements give the same outfit another configuration later. It pushes SKIMS clothing closer to designer ready-to-wear without losing the stretch fabric and close fit associated with the brand. The one-season capsule is now available through SKIMS online and its New York and Los Angeles stores.
