Teyana Taylor and Alaïa are a pretty natural match once movement enters the picture. The multidisciplinary artist fronts the house’s Summer Fall 2026 campaign, photographed by David Sims entirely in black and white. Taylor’s dance background becomes part of the visual language as she bends, stretches, and shifts through the frame, letting the clothes trace the body instead of relying on elaborate sets or styling tricks.

The wardrobe keeps that focus just as sharp. Signature second-skin knit dresses follow the body closely, while a jersey dress uses anatomical cutouts and a defined waist to break up the line. A metallic-embellished mini catches the light in another image, adding shine to an otherwise stripped-back series. Those body-conscious proportions sit squarely within Alaïa, where close-fitting knits and dramatic shapes remain central to the house’s visual identity.

Behind the images, Aleksandra Woroniecka handled creative direction and styling, with Rio Sreedharan on hair and Yadim Carranza on makeup. Taylor also appears in an accompanying campaign film, extending the same movement-driven idea beyond still photography. The clothes stay spare, the gestures do the work, and the black-and-white treatment keeps every line of the silhouette impossible to miss.
