Cou Cou X Sandy Liang Puts Bows, Books And Pajamas In The Same Story

The Vibe :

⊹ Cou Cou’s first brand collaboration pairs its intimates with Sandy Liang’s nostalgic girlhood codes.

⊹ “A Guide to Being Well Read” turns books, pajamas, and underwear into one very specific school-year mood.

⊹ The Sweet Dreams print scatters butterflies, bunnies, tea cups, paw prints, and bows across the capsule.

⊹ French lace trims organic cotton poplin pajamas and micro Boxettes.

Cou Cou x Sandy Liang takes the back-to-school mood somewhere much softer than a new notebook. Framed around “A Guide to Being Well Read,” Cou Cou’s first brand collaboration pulls library nostalgia into intimates and loungewear, with books, bows, and pajama dressing doing most of the work. The campaign was photographed in Paris by Annemarie Kuus and riffs on vintage catalogues and magazines, with titles including The Secret Garden, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and The Little Prince appearing alongside the clothes.

The capsule gets especially specific with its sleepwear. A 100% organic French poplin pajama shirt has a relaxed button-up shape with French lace at the collar and cuffs, while the matching straight-leg pants repeat the lace at the hem. The Boxette shrinks the boxer into a low-rise micro short with a cheeky back and covered elastic waistband. That mix of sugary detail and everyday pieces sits right in line with Sandy Liang, where bows, tiny proportions, and offbeat feminine details already do a lot of the talking.

Then there is the Sweet Dreams print, which piles butterflies, bunnies, tea cups, paw prints, and bows onto the collaboration without losing the softness of the cotton base. Cou Cou keeps the fabrication simple and synthetic-free, while Sandy Liang supplies the tiny visual jokes.

  • Author - Andrea

From fashion and beauty to health and wellness, she enjoys sharing and connecting on the topics that help to make our everyday lives just a bit brighter. If you don't find her behind her laptop writing her latest article, you'll also find her walking her dog, whipping up a new recipe, or scouring the mall for the latest trends. Andrea's experience in fashion began after graduating from the Fashion Marketing and Merchandising program from the Academy of Design in Toronto, ON. She broke out into the competitive world of fashion by launching her own online boutique, selling women's clothing and accessories. From there, very quickly, she discovered online selling was not for her. She now prefers to stay behind the computer, chatting about fashion in a written format that still allows her to connect with fellow style enthusiasts. And, since then, she has never looked back, writing for independent magazines, small businesses, and everything in between. Andrea now also occasionally writes for companies and brands outside the fashion and beauty industry, but at the end of the day, her heart remains loyal to what she knows best—great fashion.
