adidas x Wales Bonner FW26 Puts a Luxury Spin on Retro Sportswear

The Vibe :

⊹ Grace Wales Bonner revisits the partnership’s archive for FW26, giving familiar adidas silhouettes new material treatments.

⊹ Croc-stamped Karintha and Gazelle sneakers join suede ADIZERO Adios and pony hair BW designs.

⊹ A bark-colored leather blouson with crochet stripes leads the apparel alongside pinstripe sportswear.

⊹ Harley Weir photographs the 1980s London-inspired campaign ahead of the October 29 global release.

adidas Originals x Wales Bonner FW26 has decided the sneaker rotation needs a little extra attitude. Grace Wales Bonner revisits the partnership’s archive, giving the WB Karintha dark brown crocodile-stamped leather and brushed gold eyelets, while the WB Gazelle Snake comes in green crocodile-stamped leather. The WB ADIZERO Adios Suede swaps its running-shoe finish for a fully suede upper with custom Three Stripes details. Then there’s the debut WB BW Pony, with pony hair uppers and lizard-print leather overlays. A basic white sneaker was clearly not on the agenda.

The clothes are getting the luxury treatment, too. A leather blouson in Wales Bonner’s signature bark color arrives with crochet side stripes and tonal embossed branding. A double-knit jersey tracksuit sits next to a pinstripe track top and matching shorts, while a collared football top, matching trousers and stirrup-detail track pants give the athletic references more variety. The Wales Bonner wardrobe also includes a knit long-sleeve, double-logo tees and a neoprene bag with crocodile-inspired panels.

Harley Weir photographed the FW26 campaign with 1980s London as its starting point, drawing on a period when different youth cultures, music and street style crossed paths. That influence carries through the pinstripes, football-inspired pieces and unexpected sneaker materials. A lanyard and two pairs of socks round out the accessories, keeping even the smallest pieces connected to the sportswear references. The collection launches globally October 29 at adidas.com, through the CONFIRMED app and select retailers.
