The Vibe :
⊹ Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta keep Spring 2027 rooted in familiar clothes with stranger finishes.
⊹ Curved cuts let transparent layers twist and shift around the body.
⊹ A metallic plum skirt changes with the light.
⊹ The runway closes with pieces from the duo’s new J.Crew collaboration.
Eckhaus Latta Spring 2027 does not start with a neat reference or theme. Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta prefer to keep old ideas around, tweak them, invite new ones in and see what sticks. That loose process shows up in clothes that begin with familiar shapes but move differently once worn. A jersey organza tee gathers as the model walks, transparent layers twist around the body, and curved cuts keep pieces from settling into one fixed way of being styled.

Some of the best moments come from surface and shine. A metallic plum skirt with slits at the front and back is cut from cross-woven polyester that catches the light as it moves, while other looks push sheer layers against denser fabrics. Eckhaus Latta has always been good at making off-kilter clothes feel wearable, and this season keeps that tension alive without turning every look into a design exercise.

The designers also extend their world beyond the main collection. After 15 years in business, they sent pieces from their new J.Crew collaboration down the runway after the show, building on a partnership that has already included a sold-out roll-neck sweater and now expands into a larger capsule. The pairing makes sense: J.Crew brings familiar American staples, while Eckhaus Latta pulls them somewhere stranger with color, proportion and styling.

Brand DNA
Founded in 2011 by Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta, Eckhaus Latta brings an art-school sensibility to American fashion. Experimental knits, unconventional denim, raw finishes, and offbeat proportions define its distinctly downtown point of view.
