Few fashion pairings feel as instantly recognizable as Kate Moss and Hunter wellies. More than two decades after her festival looks helped turn rubber boots into an off-duty fashion obsession, Moss is back with the British label for its AW26 “Iconic by Nature” campaign. The reunion marks Hunter’s 170th anniversary and leans straight into that shared history, taking the supermodel from muddy-field nostalgia into a new season of weather-ready dressing.
The anniversary lineup goes well beyond the black boots that defined those early festival photos. In Europe, Hunter revives its earliest green for a 170th Anniversary Original Tall Wellington finished with gold hardware and a “Since 1856” badge. The U.S. and Canadian range adds Black Croc Original Tall boots, Chocolate Brown Giania suede styles and Maribel puffer booties. More waterproof classics can also be found across Hunter as colder weather moves in.

Outerwear joins the footwear story too, with pieces such as the Bex Signature Hunting Jacket, while Europe gets the Downpour Tall Boot, Elements Neoprene Chelsea and a welded PU puffer jacket. Hunter’s Original Tall remains the anchor: the brand says the silhouette debuted in 1956 and is still assembled from 28 individual rubber parts. For AW26, that familiar boot gets a birthday upgrade rather than a total rewrite.
