Kenzo Fall Winter 2026 debuted during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, introducing a collection presented inside the former Paris home of Kenzo Takada and centered on the house’s foundational codes. The season frames a return to place and memory, positioning the collection as a study of how personal history shapes a modern wardrobe. That idea becomes clearer through the decision to stage the presentation as a walk through Takada’s own residence.

Creative director Nigo anchored this season’s presentation inside Kenzo Takada’s former Paris home in the Bastille district, turning the space into an exhibition of the brand’s evolution. The intimate venue, originally designed by Takada himself, allowed visitors to move through rooms where looks were placed as if part of the house’s architecture, reinforcing the sense of return to origin at the heart of the collection.

The season mixed traditional Japanese tailoring references with Western wardrobe staples. Kimono-inspired suits sat beside varsity jackets and cowboy shirts, while classic Italian tailoring appeared in peak lapels and structured coats. This blend also surfaced through color and pattern: florals and varsity graphics were woven across accessories and garments, creating a dialogue between Takada’s original codes and contemporary wardrobe needs.

Archival pieces took visible shape in the season’s lineup. The brand’s 1986 “Kite” bag returned in updated leather treatments, and embroidered organza pieces from the early 1990s were reworked alongside bold tailoring. A new graphic emblem, now appearing across bags and belts, hinted at a future direction for Kenzo’s visual identity. Accessories such as contrasting ballet flats and statement tote bags echoed the collection’s dual cultural influence while underscoring renewed design focus.
