The Vibe :

⊹ Tonal layers built around ginger, straw, milk, teal and prune

⊹ Linen dresses and cotton separates that work beyond the hotel

⊹ Clean lines replace the usual parade of loud vacation prints

⊹ Lightweight knits add texture without making summer dressing complicated

Monikh x Faithfull Volume II approaches summer dressing without turning every piece into a postcard. Monikh Dale’s second collaboration with Faithfull centers on tonal cotton separates, linen dresses and lightweight knits that make sense in the Algarve campaign setting but don’t depend on a flight itinerary to feel relevant.

The palette establishes the collection’s understated direction. Ginger, wheat and straw form its warmer foundation, while milk white, teal and deep prune introduce cooler contrasts. Rather than using those shades as isolated statements, the capsule repeats them across tanks, skirts and trousers so the pieces can be layered into nearly monochromatic combinations.

A ginger knit tank and matching cotton pants capture that approach in its most direct form. The close-fitting top gives the relaxed trousers a cleaner line, while a straw-colored city short offers a more abbreviated alternative. These aren’t complicated styling propositions, but the proportion changes keep the outfits from reading like standard matching sets.

That pared-back sensibility sits comfortably within Faithfull The Brand, though the collaboration carries less of the printed romance often associated with the label. Monikh’s influence appears in the straight silhouettes, tonal combinations and ability to make a long skirt or loose trouser feel polished without turning formal.

The dresses provide several distinct versions of that idea. A ginger slip dress follows the body with narrow straps and a long line, while a white kimono dress uses a looser wrap shape and wider sleeves. The teal bandeau dress removes the straps entirely, letting its saturated color and column-like silhouette control the look. Across the label’s dresses, the collaboration favors strong shapes over decorative print.

Separates give the capsule more range. A white tunic top can sit over city shorts or loose trousers, while a straw-striped shirt and pocket skirt form a coordinated look that can be broken apart easily. The milk bandeau top and linen pants offer another tonal pairing, balancing a fitted upper half with volume through the leg.

Knitwear prevents the cotton and linen story from becoming too uniform. Sleeveless tanks in ginger and prune add a finer texture, while a wheat-colored vest can sit over the slip dress or be worn on its own. The additions feel useful during cooler mornings and evenings without pushing the collection out of its warm-weather setting.

The Algarve campaign reinforces that flexibility. Monikh appears against sunlit stone, open landscapes and coastal architecture, but the styling rarely slips into obvious resort shorthand. A striped shirt, pocket skirt or cotton trouser could return to the city unchanged, which separates this capsule from more destination-led chapters such as Faithfull’s Cadaqués collection.

Volume II also continues the natural fabrics and straightforward shapes seen in the label’s Venezia chapter, but Monikh’s edit is narrower and more personal. Instead of building an entire seasonal world, the collaboration focuses on a compact group of pieces that can be recombined until their original pairings become almost irrelevant.

That makes the capsule less about assembling a dedicated vacation wardrobe and more about adjusting an existing one for warmer weather. A cotton pant, linen dress, striped shirt or knit tank doesn’t need to announce where it’s going. Monikh x Faithfull Volume II leaves enough room for the person wearing it to decide.
