Palomo’s idea of anniversary dressing includes jeans, provided they come studded with roses and paired with a fluffy feathered tank. For Spring 2027, Alejandro Gómez Palomo celebrated his label’s first decade with “Et in Arcadia Ego,” presented in Madrid’s Rosaleda del Parque del Oeste. After a year away from the runway and three more tightly edited collections, he wanted to bring back the fun of his earliest menswear. That meant letting everyday clothes share space with the feathers, transparency and romantic excess that made his name.

The appeal is in how familiar the starting points remain. Cargo shorts come in pale pink alongside sheer shirts, while matching utility sets trade their usual practicality for sheer cotton organza. Jeans pick up feather accents, and tailored suits borrow pockets from workwear jackets. Leather outerwear adds another texture to a palette spanning neutrals, pastels and brighter shades. Red and green slip dresses bring color to the coed lineup, keeping the relationship between everyday dressing and eveningwear open to interpretation.

For the more extravagant end of the wardrobe, Palomo piles on beaded fringe and feathers, including a feather-adorned sheer duster, large boas and elaborate headpieces. These flourishes connect the streetwear pieces to the gala looks without requiring everyone to dress alike. The collection also returns to bestselling shirts and the designer’s signature “ass-air” pants, keeping recognizable favorites in play as the brand expands its direct-to-consumer business and plans a return to wholesale.
