The Vibe :
⊹ Collection F arrives from January 2027, with menswear shirts and relaxed tuxedo trousers taking priority.
⊹ Tailored tops are worn backward, leaving the back unexpectedly open.
⊹ Padded trains, gauzy red dresses, and hand-painted shearling bring some unexpected drama.
⊹ Faded carpenter jeans, scrunched pumps, and pearl earrings give the styling a lived-in attitude.
Phoebe Philo’s Spring 2027 Collection F has a pretty straightforward dress code: a good shirt, great trousers, and absolutely no obligation to wear your jacket the right way around. Menswear staples dominate the lineup, with oversized dress shirts, dropped-crotch tuxedo pants, and tailoring that looks considerably less buttoned-up than its construction suggests. Philo even turns jackets backward, transforming them into backless tops with an unexpectedly sexy finish. Apparently, the front of a blazer is optional now.

The trousers deserve their own conversation. Boyish tuxedo styles hang low, while carpenter jeans and five-pocket denim arrive washed, faded, and looking like they’ve already spent a few years in someone’s wardrobe. The oversized silhouettes of Collection D are still recognizable, although the styling here feels decidedly more casual. Shirts get exaggerated cuffs, jackets lose their conventional orientation, and carefully pressed creases add character to fabrics that might otherwise look entirely ordinary. There’s an almost obsessive attention to making clothes appear naturally worn.

Of course, Philo couldn’t resist throwing a few curveballs into the mix. A lipstick-red gauzy tube dress interrupts the neutral-heavy wardrobe, while padded trains introduce a much stranger proposition. One can be wrapped around the hips, left trailing toward the floor, or casually carried over an arm. Elsewhere, a voluminous white calico train accompanies a backward tailored dress. These are hardly practical additions to your Monday morning wardrobe, but seeing such extravagant shapes alongside worn-in denim and simple tops makes the styling all the more interesting.

Outerwear remains an obsession. Following the shearling-heavy direction of her Fall 2026 Collection E, Philo returns to the material with hand-painted finishes, tumbled textures, and an oversized bathrobe-style coat in a rather glorious shade called neon ginger. The accessories are comparatively unfussy: pearl drop earrings, scrunched pumps, and cushioned flats in dark plum and oxblood. It’s an appealingly imperfect way to approach luxury, down to the little irregularities deliberately worked into the fabric.

Collection F begins arriving in January 2027, with subsequent deliveries extending into May. There’s plenty here that longtime Philo devotees will recognize, although the occasional oddball experiment keeps the wardrobe from becoming too predictable. One shearling coat even comes with its sleeves permanently pushed up. Philo has effectively designed the casual gesture right into the garment.
