The Vibe :
⊹ The Bond fantasy gets a female lead, with tailoring and flashes of skin.
⊹ Chartreuse and electric blue bring extra voltage to Hudson’s familiar sharp shoulders.
⊹ A five-style Larroudé collaboration expands the look, alongside eyewear and natural-diamond jewelry.
Sergio Hudson makes Spring 2027 tailoring look ready for an assignment with a very good expense account. Sharp shoulders are a calling card for the designer, whose new collection recasts the James Bond fantasy with a woman playing the agent. At New York’s Rainbow Room, chartreuse and magenta suits supplied the glamour; plunging jackets worn over bare skin supplied the flirtation. If Hudson has been missing from your radar, this is a persuasive introduction to his particular appetite for dressed-up drama.

The shape of that drama is shifting. Slim boot-cut trousers offer an alternative to Hudson’s familiar wide legs, while high skirt slits and chiffon body blouses let more skin into the picture. Embroidered lace takes over an idea previously worked in laser-cut latex. Electric blue and fiery red make their presence felt, including a red chiffon dress Hudson singled out as a personal favorite. Black-and-white looks sharpen the contrast, with a short-sleeve French-cuff blouse giving a familiar staple an appealingly specific update.

Hudson is also filling out the accessories around those clothes. Spring introduces natural-diamond jewelry and eyewear, plus his first footwear collaboration: five styles with Larroudé. Among them is a pointed-toe stiletto pump tied to a silhouette his mother wore. It is a personal reference within a season of cinematic ones, bringing a family memory into the head-to-toe Sergio Hudson look.
