Vivienne Westwood’s Fw26 Campaign Brings British Punk Into An Italian Palazzo

The Vibe :

⊹ British punk dressing surrounded by full-volume Italian decoration

⊹ Juergen Teller portraits that leave the room’s beautiful clutter intact

⊹ Harris Tweed, corseted knits and dark suiting interrupted by red

⊹ Ilona Staller bringing old-school Italian notoriety to the cast

Vivienne Westwood’s Fall/Winter 2026 campaign places British punk inside a room that appears allergic to empty space. Photographed by Juergen Teller, the images were shot at Belloni, a family-run Italian furniture showroom located between Milan and Como. Rococo seating, Art Deco cabinets, patterned walls and heavy textiles surround the cast, giving the sharp tailoring and undone layers of Vivienne Westwood an appropriately excessive new address.

Andreas Kronthaler chose the location after moving to Milan, but the campaign does not become a polite love letter to Italian taste. Dark felted suits sit against gilded furniture, flashes of red interrupt the brown and gold surroundings, and exposed seams keep the clothes from looking too composed. Structured Harris Tweed coats bring weight, while corseted knitwear and draped dresses pull the body in less predictable directions.

Teller leaves the showroom’s visual noise alone. The furniture competes with the clothes, upholstery crowds the frame and the cast seems to have wandered into a family home where nobody believes in beige. That friction suits the Westwood wardrobe, particularly the combinations of strict jackets, distorted proportions and fabric pairings that should clash but somehow become more convincing together.

Ilona Staller, better known as Cicciolina, appears alongside agency and street-cast faces. Her presence adds a specifically Italian strain of provocation rather than functioning as a standard celebrity booking. She belongs to a pre-social-media generation of public figures who understood how clothes, sexuality and self-invention could turn a person into an image long before the campaign carousel existed.

Brand DNA

Born from London’s 1970s punk scene, Vivienne Westwood rewrote British fashion with corsetry, tartan, historical tailoring, and the Orb emblem. Andreas Kronthaler now carries the house’s rebellious wit forward.
