Alex Perry Pre Fall 2026 starts in leather and keeps changing the material conversation from there. A leather and lace camisole meets a low rise mini skirt, contour blazers arrive in leather and wool suiting, and stretch mesh runs through singlet dresses, one shoulder minis and longer columns. Perry has plenty of gowns waiting later in the lookbook, but the opening stretch gives tailoring and separates enough room to make their own entrance.
Then the dresses start changing texture almost look by look. Jersey twists across minis and gowns, satin crepe shows up in knotted and off shoulder shapes, and sequin mesh carries the shine into strapless and draped dresses. Silk satin follows with tiered halter and bikini gowns, while lace and dry jersey take the collection into another run of evening pieces. That material range feels right at home beside Alex Perry, where gowns remain a major part of the designer’s vocabulary.
The leather returns near the end in asymmetric gowns combined with jersey, connecting the tougher opening looks back to Perry’s eveningwear territory. It also gives Pre Fall 2026 a wider wardrobe than a straight run of event dresses. Leather minis, wool trousers and mesh bodysuits can sit in the same room as silk gowns and sequins. For Alex Perry, that room is getting considerably more interesting.
