Femme La Turns Its Signature Heels White For Wedding Season

The Vibe :

⊹ FEMME LA brings familiar signatures into a dedicated bridal lineup.

⊹ White satin gives the Kaia, Donatella and Barely There styles their wedding turn.

⊹ Crystal versions of the Bella and Sicilian add a sharper dose of shine.

⊹ Slippers, lace ups and sandals give the white wedding shoe more personality.

FEMME LA is making a very good case for giving the wedding shoes more attention. Its Summer Bride Collection takes some of the Los Angeles label’s recognizable silhouettes and sends them down the aisle in white satin, ivory crystal and glossy white finishes. The Sicilian Slipper, Kaia 100, Donatella 100 and Barely There Lace Up Heel all show up for the occasion, keeping the lineup firmly in FEMME territory while giving the usual bridal shoe formula a little more attitude.

White satin runs through several of the key styles, but the crystal pairs are where things get especially fun. The Bella Slipper arrives covered in ivory crystal, while the Sicilian gets its own white crystal finish. Elsewhere, slim straps, open toes and pared back uppers keep FEMME LA recognizable. Nothing here feels like a shoe you buy because the dress demands one. These are heels that can actually hold their own in the photos.

Founder Janis Tello launched FEMME LA in 2018 before moving the business toward footwear the following year, building a name around sleek single sole heels that later landed on Hailey Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Sydney Sweeney and Lori Harvey. The bridal edit carries that same visual language into wedding season. Satin handles the ceremony, crystal catches the light, and the Sicilian can keep going once the veil comes off.

If you don't find her behind her laptop writing her latest article, you'll also find her walking her dog, whipping up a new recipe, or scouring the mall for the latest trends. Andrea's experience in fashion began after graduating from the Fashion Marketing and Merchandising program from the Academy of Design in Toronto, ON. She broke out into the competitive world of fashion by launching her own online boutique, selling women's clothing and accessories. From there, very quickly, she discovered online selling was not for her. She now prefers to stay behind the computer, chatting about fashion in a written format that still allows her to connect with fellow style enthusiasts. And, since then, she has never looked back, writing for independent magazines, small businesses, and everything in between. Andrea now also occasionally writes for companies and brands outside the fashion and beauty industry, but at the end of the day, her heart remains loyal to what she knows best—great fashion.
