The Vibe :
⊹ Edelweiss flowers become a recurring visual detail across HANKIM’s AW26 collection.
⊹ Black and white keep the palette graphic while the flower motifs add a softer interruption.
⊹ Wide trousers and oversized layers give the smaller decorative details more contrast.
⊹ Designer Han Kim trained at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art.
HANKIM AW26 takes its name from the edelweiss, and the tiny alpine flower becomes an unexpectedly effective foil for the label’s bigger proportions. Dark shirting and wide trousers appear with small floral details scattered across the surface, while black and white keep the clothes graphic enough that those little interruptions actually register. It is a clever scale trick: the more substantial the silhouette becomes, the more noticeable the smallest detail starts to feel.

Designer Han Kim has the training to back up that appetite for shape. He studied Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins before completing an MA in Fashion Womenswear at the Royal College of Art, and HANKIM now presents collections during Paris Fashion Week and Shanghai Fashion Week. AW26 continues a collection history filled with concise, image-heavy titles including Stretching, Flicker, Static, Habit, and Jump.

Edelweiss shifts that vocabulary toward something more delicate without suddenly making HANKIM precious. The flower motif stays small against broad trousers, roomy tops, and dark layering, so the contrast never turns overly sweet. Instead, AW26 lets a familiar botanical symbol interrupt the severity of black clothing one tiny bloom at a time.
