LISA takes Nike’s Moon Shoe campaign very literally, heading onto a lunar set in a red pair of the low-profile sneakers. The BLACKPINK star fronts Nike Sportswear’s Fall 2026 imagery, planting an NSW flag and claiming a podium for her own moon landing. It’s a satisfyingly theatrical introduction to a slim sneaker: all that space-travel spectacle, with the red shoes supplying the punch. The campaign even leaves a shoe print on the lunar surface.
Behind the sci-fi treatment is a much more domestic origin story. Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman developed the original Moon Shoe concept through experiments in his kitchen, making the silhouette part of the brand’s earliest footwear history. Here, that archival connection gets a pop-star scale without losing the shoe’s sleek proportions. Red gives the narrow profile enough presence to hold its own in the elaborate campaign, and makes a persuasive case for putting some color back into the everyday sneaker rotation.

The soundtrack deserves its own credit. “Mister Magic Moon,” recorded by The Kim Sisters with Joe Tanner’s Orchestra in 1964, accompanies the visuals, connecting LISA’s appearance to an earlier generation of Korean performers who found international success. It adds a musical reference that reaches well beyond the obvious moon imagery. Nike’s Moon Shoe is available now in new seasonal colorways through Nike.com and select retailers worldwide.
