The Vibe :
⊹ Ocean waves translate into fluid jersey, chiffon and body-skimming drapery
⊹ Seafoam, deep blue and sandy metallics replace harder jewel tones
⊹ Familiar beadwork appears lighter and less tied to formal occasions
⊹ New clutches extend the wardrobe beyond dresses and evening gowns
Zuhair Murad Resort 2027 loosens the grip of traditional occasion dressing. Inspired by the movement of the sea, the collection replaces rigid evening shapes with fluid jersey dresses, airy chiffon, sweeping drapery and tailored separates designed to carry the house glamour into more parts of the day.

The adjustment is immediately visible in the softer palette. Seafoam green, blush neutrals, deep ocean blue and sandy metallics dominate the lineup, creating a cooler counterpoint to the vivid colors often associated with Zuhair Murad. Brighter shades still appear, but they no longer control the entire collection.
Beadwork remains part of the vocabulary, only with more space around it. Rather than covering every surface, embellishment follows necklines, traces the body or catches the light across selected sections of a dress. The lighter placement allows the chiffon and jersey to move without becoming weighed down by decoration.

Clean gabardine gowns and streamlined jacquard looks offer another route into the season. Their appeal comes from the cut and the fall of the fabric rather than dense surface work, reflecting a growing appetite for pieces that can move between formal events and less prescribed settings. Across the label’s dresses, Resort 2027 makes that flexibility more visible than usual.
The collection’s water reference extends beyond color. Draped fabric curves around the torso, skirts fall in long rippling lines and jersey follows the body without the rigid internal structure of a traditional red-carpet gown. Murad keeps the sensuality, but the clothes look less fixed in place.

Tailored separates support the same shift. Jackets, trousers and monochromatic looks expand Zuhair Murad’s ready-to-wear beyond the evening category, giving clients pieces that don’t depend on a gala invitation. A jacket or trouser can be styled down, while a cleaner gown can work without a full set of formal accessories.
Murad also acknowledges that his clientele doesn’t want one universal version of glamour. Middle Eastern customers continue to respond to saturated color and intricate eveningwear, while European and North American clients have shown greater interest in simpler lines and fewer embellishments. Resort 2027 holds both preferences together rather than forcing the house into a complete reset.

Accessories are becoming a larger part of that strategy. Three new clutch shapes were developed after clients asked for bags that coordinate with their dresses, while belts and footwear continue to grow alongside the ready-to-wear. The clutches aren’t treated as secondary add-ons; they help turn an evening look into a more complete Zuhair Murad wardrobe.
The softer direction follows the polished corsetry and ornate chiffon seen in Zuhair Murad Fall 2026, but Resort removes some of that historical drama. Compared with the sari references and destination glamour of Resort 2026, this collection feels more closely tied to movement, versatility and changing client habits.
